We want people not just to know about Christ, but to know him personally and to commit their lives to him and his church here at First Baptist.

 

To Grow in Christ

 

While God uses many means to grow a believer, we believe that a principal one is small groups where believers can acquire the necessary skills to become mature followers and servants of Christ.

 

To Go and Show the Love of Christ

 

After Believers have completed training in our small groups, they will be ready to go into are community to show others Christ's love both by word (evangelism) and deed (ministries like soup kitchen, etc.). 

We believe that God has called us to be light and salt (Matthew 5:13-16) in Westbrook, impacting both individuals and society with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
